About Deanna Tall

I was born and raised in Langley, BC, spending my entire childhood and completing grade school in the Brookswood area. My grandparents moved to Langley over 60 years ago and raised my mother and her siblings here. My grandparents and my father are well-respected business people in Langley. They helped foster my love of community and commerce.

After grade school I moved to Whistler, BC to work in property management, and then returned to Langley to complete my university education and further my career. I have worked in the construction industry, accounting, municipal government, property management and real estate. With over 3 years in the planning and building department for municipal government, I gained valuable knowledge of zoning, development policies & procedures, and municipal bylaws.

I am university educated, have completed a certification program in the accounting field, and I completed my real estate license through the Sauder School of Business at UBC. My educational background includes business management, accounting, hospitality management, and real estate.

Hiking, camping, and boating are a few of my favorite activities as I enjoy anything in the great outdoors. There's really no better place than beautiful British Columbia. I also keep active year round with my dog Chevy, a Mastiff cross. My favorite sports to watch are hockey and UFC.

I am an active volunteer in Langley, and I have been involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley for over 10 years. Making a difference in the life of a child is deeply rewarding. I truly believe in the value of mentoring. Working with my little sister has enhanced my leadership and interpersonal skills, and enriched my life both personally and professionally. I enjoy helping others, and volunteerism allows me to develop a better understanding of the needs in our community.
